Come in for a consultation to see if Invisalign® is a good fit for you. We’ll go through how it works and answer any questions you may have.

What is Invisalign and How Does It Work

Invisalign are aligners made of thermoplastic material that seem virtually invisible, as compared to the conventional braces. These are very similar to teeth whitening trays and are custom made for your teeth, so that your teeth move in the right direction as directed by your doctor.

A series of aligners will be prescribed to you over the course of treatment, with each one making slight adjustments to your teeth, as determined by your doctor. Invisalign causes your teeth to shift gradually, with each set of aligners continuing the process of straightening your teeth through timed controlled force so that you end up with the perfect smile.

How Will Invisalign Affect My Life

Conventional braces are extremely visible, and this affects the confidence of many users. Invisalign helps you to straighten your teeth, while being virtually invisible, so that you go through your daily routine and life without anyone being none the wiser.

Invisalign is also removable, so that you are not restricted to any particular diet and this helps in promoting fresh breath and great oral hygiene as you would continue to floss and brush your teeth like any other day. There are no metal brackets to irritate your mouth and overall, you will spend less time in the doctor’s office, and more outside it. As long as you wear your Invisalign aligners at least 20 – 22 hours a day, you’re good to go.

Can I Eat and Drink With Invisalign

As Invisalign are not like metal braces, which are placed in your teeth for a Invisalign Clear Bracescertain period of time, you have the freedom to eat and drink whatever you want. They are removable, and can and should be removed for mealtimes, so there are no restrictions placed on your diet. Just be sure to remove your Invisalign aligners while meal times so that food debris doesn’t get stuck in them.

If you do drink liquids while wearing your Invisalign aligners, make sure to remove them as soon as possible to brush them or at least rinse them in warm water, to make sure the liquid doesn’t seem into the tooth surfaces to cause decay.

How Long is The Treatment Process

On average, the treatment process takes up to 12 months. However, as each patient is unique, the treatment process could differ from individual to individual and also upon your doctor’s analysis of your case.

Your initial consultation will have your doctor determining if you are a good candidate for Invisalign, followed by your doctor scheduling regular appointments every 4 – 6 weeks to check the progression of your treatment.
